17 september: Being functional with C# and mind bending syntax door Oliver Sturm

Oliver Sturm is een spreker van internationaal niveau, en spreekt regelmatig op events als TechEd en DevDays. Maar het hoogtepunt van zijn sprekers carriere zal zijn op 17 september, als hij in Amersfoort voor dotNed komt spreken!

Oliver zegt het volgende over zijn sessie:

"Being functional with C# - concurrency and mind-bending syntax

The multi-core scalability issue is being widely discussed these days, and one solution that is regularly proposed involves the application of patterns from functional programming. One of the paradigms of FP is the immutability of data, which is what makes it appealing when it comes to concurrency. In this session, Oliver uses a practical example to show concurrency in action, based on immutable data and other functional approaches. In the remaining time, he will show some syntactic trickery that allows you to use all sorts of cool functional techniques in C#, and of course answer as many of your questions as possible!"

De avond wordt gehost door Vicrea te Amersfoort. De avond begint om 7 uur maar je kunt om 6 uur al terecht voor wat eten, drinken en even bijpraten.
